A Brentwood park has been shortlisted in a nationwide competition and now needs your help to get it named as the UK’s Best Park 2019.
People from up and down the country voted for their favourite park and green space, describing what makes them so special as well as sending in a photo to charity Fields in Trust which is running the contest.
A total of 364 made the list, including Brentwood's very own Thorndon Country Park.
On the charity's website, the description of Thorndon Country Park, in The Avenue, Brentwood, says: "The tranquil woodlands of Thorndon North surround the beautiful Childerditch pond and attract many migrant and over-wintering birds.
"The famous Gruffalo trail also starts here.
"The open parkland at Thorndon South is busy with families enjoying picnics with views across countryside as far as Canary Wharf."
The voting closes on Monday, August 19, where those with the most votes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be shortlisted and the overall winner will be announced in mid-September.
