As we're now in the last month of the year, it's officially time to start celebrating Christmas!

So to mark the festivities, Enjoy Brentwood More will be sharing a video every week in December of pupils in Brentwood singing.

Whether it’d be a classic carol or a pop anthem, they will all be belting out some of our most beloved Christmas tunes.

Next, are pupils from the Brentwood Preparatory School, Middleton Hall Lane, Brentwood.

Music plays a huge part in our school community and we are especially pleased to be able to sing as often as possible in the lead up to Christmas.

Headmaster Jason Whiskerd said: “Our chapel and Chamber Choirs are particularly busy at this time of year with performances in a variety of venues including Saint Peter’s Church in Little Warley, Brentwood Cathedral and also to our own pupils and parents.

“We are proud of the pupils as their commitment is year round and it certainly makes us a much richer community.”

Director of music Daryl Barber said: “The choirs at Brentwood Prep School have had a busy run-up to Christmas.

“The Chamber Choir has already performed in a carol service at St Peter’s Church in Little Warley and will soon be leading the singing in the School’s own carol service which will also include the children of the senior choir.

“They’ve also been learning a selection of popular Christmas Hits which they will be singing at the School’s Christmas Fayre. The younger children have been practising for their Christmas Production which combines the nativity story with a selection of catchy songs.

“Our wide variety of Christmas songs has certainly put us in the mood for the festive season.”

Enjoy!
