A deputy headteacher says she is "overwhelmed" after families made vital donations to a food bank.
As part of the Harvest Festival celebrations, families at The Ursuline Preparatory School, Brentwood, donated food items such as tins, dried food, tea and coffee.
These generous donations have since been passed onto the Brentwood Food Bank, Breakthru Church, Hanging Hill Lane.
Deputy headteacher Isabelle Parker-Litjens said: "I am overwhelmed with the generosity of the pupils and their parents at the school. "We are very happy that we can help and support such an amazing cause within our local community."
