Spring is the time for Easter, the start of good weather but best of all, it's an excuse to meet cute baby animals.

Hopefield's Sophie Kemp tells us about the charity's Easter Fun Day where residents were able to meet some of their residents.

It's been an absolutely incredible couple of weeks down at the sanctuary.

We've had unprecedented numbers of visitors coming down during the Easter hols, and on Sunday, April 21 we held our Easter Fun Day and raised over £9,400!

This was our best open day to date and we want to say a massive thank you to everyone that came along and helped to make the day so special for us all.

We rely on donations and fundraising events to keep us open, so it really was amazing to see so many people down here.

We're already so excited for our next event which is taking place on Saturday, May 18: Hopefield's Kids Inflatables Day!

Set to be one of the most popular of our events this year, it's going to be a jam-packed day of fun for the whole family.

This week, we'd like you to meet two of our goat residents, Trinity and Blaze.

They came to live with us a few years ago, after their ex-owners could no longer care for them, and didn't want them to be sent to slaughter.

They're a very friendly pair and love their life out in our huge custom-made goat paddock with the rest of our herd!
