Shoppers in Brentwood will have the opportunity, this Saturday (October 13), to try their hand at CPR and learn how to use a defibrillator, free of charge, courtesy of local company Emergency Response First Aid Training.
Brentwood medic and qualified first aid instructor, Roy TYZACK and his first aider wife Penelope, will be teaming up with the Brentwood Community Safety Partnership and Neighbourhood Watch for the free event which takes place in Unit 25 at The Bay Tree Centre, High Road, Brentwood on Saturday between 10am - 3pm.
CPR manikins and defib trainers will be set up and Roy will be showing people how it’s done and giving free ‘hands-on’ instruction. Everyone will be working inside the vacant shop so no-one need be embarrassed to come in and have a go. Pop in and try it – there’s also some ‘freebies’ to take away.
